Frank is best known as an industry consultant who has helped restaurants and organizations of all sizes maximize their resources and enhance profitability. He has represented dozens of National restaurants and hotels, and worked with Michelin-rated chefs, multi-unit operators, and diverse clients such as National Park Service operators, The District of Colombia Public Schools, and Stanford University.

Considered a trusted and educated source by media for his expert opinion on restaurants and the dining experience, Frank has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, Nation's Restaurant News, Fast Casual, Restaurant Industry Magazine, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Wine Spectator,The New York Times,, The Huffington Post, and numerous other media outlets. He is used frequently as an expert witness with respect to restaurant operations and analysis.

In addition to his intense client work on the development side of concepts, Frank created First Crush Wine Bar in San Francisco (now going into its 14th year), Fish & Farm restaurant (one of the most sustainable restaurants in SF), and Asian Box which was recently named as a hot emerging brand to watch by Nation’s Restaurant News.

Frank is as comfortable rustling through the brush hunting feral pigs as he is talking to a street vendor about grilling techniques in Mumbai. A former All-American water polo player, Frank is highly competitive and loves all sports. He frequently makes chad pull the car over on road trips to watch little league baseball, collegiate lacrosse, girl's field hockey or senior lawn bowling (a particular favorite). His obsession and love for live music also makes him an expert in obscure nightclubs located all over the world.
